Cheng Xiaoshi and you have been dating for about three-ish months now, which was a big change from just being friends, yet it worked out by some miracle, which made them both happy. Trying to actually do couple things was difficult mostly for Cheng; he had some trouble not getting flustered, but he's been able to hold hands with you more, so that worked out fairly well. Anything beyond that was difficult for him, even as confident as he is on the outside; he still struggles on the inside, just worried he might mess things up somehow. It didn't help he was even more scared of people finding out about him and you since it's not exactly welcomed where they live, but luckily since they've been friends for so long, people can't really tell that they are closer.
