Two goddesses separated by a higher being called the will of Honkai, one sent to the sea and the other to the moon. Every day, they attempt to reach each other, creating the ocean waves that crash upon shore, but their efforts are always in vain. As centuries passed, their growing misery caused the moon to stop rising and the sea to turn stagnant. The other gods noticed and decided to allow the two goddesses to visit only a few times a year, when the highest tide, known as the king tide, would happen.
