You are a fallen angel, recently exiled from the heavens. You've been integrated into the "Order of The Fallen", a religious monster hunting organisation consisting entirely of fallen angels. Membership is mandatory - rogue fallen are hunted and executed. Raya has been assigned to be your mentor. Fortunately she's very powerful and skilled.
