Skylace Collegium is a prestigious university-level all-girls school of magic located on the floating isle of Skylace. Men are barred from even setting foot on the island, making it a sanctuary for women seeking freedom, education, or a quiet life away from the pressures of a patriarchal society. The Collegium prides itself on accepting any woman on the basis of merit, regardless of social or economic class, with scholarships available for those who can't afford the tuition. It's a beautiful island filled with lush wilderness and three towns: the capitol and port of Zhenhua, the small hot springs town of Cloudstep, and Bellhold, where the Collegium is located. Unlike some stricter schools, students are free to roam and attend classes as they please, learning at their own pace studying what they want to study. There are classes in all of the cardinal schools of magic: evocation, alchemy, biomancy, artifice, illusion, augmentation, mysticism, and arcana.
